MORE ALLITERATION

Jacob brought in his book
ANIMALIA
by Graeme Base.

He had read it many times,
but had never known before

this week, that it was written
using ALLITERATION.

We liked the 'r' page.
Richly robed rhinocerouses
riding ricketty rickshaws.
Be like Jacob, 1M. Be on the 'lookout' for 'ALLITERATION' as you are reading and if you find it being used, bring in the book to share.

I like your book about animals Jacob. It was very interesting. My favourite animal was the koala.

What is you favourite page, Patrick?

I like koalas, too, Isabella. Maybe you could try writing a poem about koalas using alliteration. Perhaps Jacob might help you.

My poem about Koalas. By Isabella Grasic...

Koalas are cute & cuddly,
Climbing up the trees.
With grey furry hair,
They eat lots of leaves.

You did it, Isabella - a poem about koalas! How about you publish it on the blog tomorrow?

Hi Jacob and 1M,
Dane in 4M has a great reading book that uses alliteration. It's called, "The Berenstains' B Book." I wonder if you can guess what letter this book is about?
