We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

WEEKEND NEWSFLASH!

1M, Elizabeth has left a new poem for you this morning.

To read it, go to the 'Comment' section of the 'OUR NOISY NEIGHBOURS' post.
While you are there, check out the new link I have put in. Are they as noisy as our birds?
Can you think of a TITLE for Elizabeth's poem?
Leave a comment with your suggestions.... just like FLYNN has!

HOPE THE REST OF YOUR WEEKEND IS FUN...SEE YOU MONDAY!

Benny, what a 'lifter-upperer' you are...but you are SMART as well. I know you are because you're our 'Comment King'- always full of clever ideas and inspirations. So go on, have a go at a title, you CAN do it!

The parrots are noisy. They are colourful and I like our parrots.
We have got some at home they come to our tree and sometimes they come inside and try and eat our food.

How do the noisy birds get all the nectar out of the tree?

Now we have got some pet parrots because they came to our tree to eat the nectar. While they were away we got some nectar off the tree and we put it somewhere where they couldn't find it, then when they came back we fed them. Then I gave some to my brothers and they gave it to them.

I have parrots at home and we have to feed them everyday. I like to feed them.
