She didn't type for us today - we did the typing OURSELVES!
She taught us how to use the SPACEBAR to put in the spaces between the words.
We learnt how to hold down the SHIFT key when we need to type a CAPITAL letter.

Lauren's Mum also showed
us which key we needed to push if we wanted to use a FULLSTOP.
We took a long time to type, but Lauren's Mum was very patient. She was a great TEACHER.

Bryce, Laura, Johanna, Brooke and Ben worked with Mrs Duffy. They posted their stories. They were proud of themselves because THEY had taught Mrs Duffy how to post.
This got us thinking.... Do you have to be a 'TEACHER' to TEACH?
NO!!!!...we are ALL 'TEACHERS'.

Naomi and Kimi are EXPERTS at cartwheels. Jacob said he'd like to learn how to do them and he could TEACH someone how to ride a bike.
But what if you wanted to learn how to draw?... or tie your shoelaces?

I could teach people how to ride a bike and how to play golf. I could be a sports teacher.

I could teach rollerblading. I could teach all my friends how to skate and make sure they don't fall over. Also i could teach everyone to draw and colour in.

Well, I know how to tie my shoelaces and how to do handstands. I could teach my class how to do all of these things.
I could teach everyone to draw pictures.i could teach them how to draw boats. They could be big boats like sailing boats. I could also teach everyone to draw seats and cars and computers.
I could teach people how to ride without training wheels on their bikes. I can ride without training wheels. I can teach how to build things with wood.
i can teach people to ride their bikes with no training wheels.I can also teach someone to stay in the lines when colouring in.
I can teach people how to do jumping and spinning tricks and also how to jump high on the trampoline.
i can teach others to swim. i could show them how to do butterfly. i can also show them how to do backstroke

I would like to teach people how to ride their bikes without training wheels. I could also teach everyone how to cook.
i could teach people how to write hard words like 'said' and hard letters like Z.
I could teach people how to draw. I could show them how to draw angels.
i could teach people to play basketball. i could teach them how to shoot and dribble. also how to listen to your coach.
I could teach everyone how to play the Playstation. I could teach them all how to play the Spiderman game. I could show people how to build lots of things with Lego.
If i was a teacher i could teach cartwheels. you start like a star fish and takes alot of practice

Do you have to be a teacher to teach? I learn from children all the time -- so I think EVERYONE can be a teacher. The same way I would hope everyone stays open to learning their whole life. (I think every child reading this would agree: there certainly are more than a few adults out there who could learn a few things!)

I love to visit schools, where I work with kids of all ages to help them write their own poems & stories. Sometimes I even bring my guitar and we sing. If I'm ever hired out to visit your neck of the woods, I'll be sure to say hello. (I adore traveling.)
