We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

MAKING OUR PHOTOSTORIES - THE PROCESS

Two weeks ago we showed you the PROCEDURE we followed to draw up PLANS for our PHOTOSTORIES about classroom ROUTINES.
Since then, we have been DESIGNERS and CREATORS, using our
PLANS to PRODUCE our PHOTOSTORIES.
Here is the PROCEDURE for making a PHOTOSTORY.
1. ACT
out and
take a PHOTO
of each step in
your routine.

2. UPLOAD your photos into PHOTO
STORY.

3. ADD TEXT to each photo. You can change the type of font, its size and colour if you want to.

4. ANIMATE each photo if you want it to zoom in or out.
5. RECORD your voice
over for each photo.

6. Give your PHOTO
STORY a name and SAVE it.

7. PLAY your PHOTOSTORY!
YOU'RE FINISHED!

WATCH OUT FOR OUR PHOTOSTORIES.... COMING SOON!

I can't wait to SEE and HEAR your photostories 1M. Can you give me a hint about what procedures you will be teaching us? I wonder if you are doing a procedure about going to the library seeing you are becoming so clever at logging out your books. I suppose I'll just have to WAIT and be PATIENT!
My eyes are glued to your blog until then

Mrs Duffy - here's some procedures that we are making photostories for:
before school routine, going home routine, library routine, hand-out, lining up, prayer, reading and quiet reading.
We are having trouble with the sound - it didn't work with the microphone and we had to use the headset, but then it wasn't loud enough! We hope Mrs M can work it out!
