We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

HARMONY DAY

Today is HARMONY DAY. At Assembly the Year 4's told us about 'HARMONY' and the virtue of LOVE.

They were wearing
'orange' shirts because
orange is the colour
for 'harmony'.

We read 'WHOEVER YOU ARE' by Mem Fox.
We've learnt that 'HARMONY' is when EVERYONE is treated fairly and we show RESPECT and FRIENDSHIP to ALL.
It's when EVERYONE GETS ALONG!
