We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

LUNCHTIME FUN

At lunchtime
today it was raining,
so we had to stay
indoors.

These pictures show
the 'indoor' play choices
we made. THEY WERE FUN
CHOICES!

The 'CLICK-IT SHAPES were popular.

So was the LEGO. Star Wars Battlestars and boats were the most popular constructions.

Others chose to make patterns.
Some used the mosaic boards.

Others used the threading pattern materials.

The creators of these patterns were VERY CLEVER.
Can you NAME what type of pattern each one is?
Leave a comment if you can ....
even you Mrs Duffy!!
Don't forget to take up the challenge to make some patterns at home.
Take a picture to bring in (like Flynn did) or tell us your pattern in a comment.
