We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

MORE PATTERNS FROM HOME!

Here are some patterns that Johanna and Billee-Jane created at home.

We weren't tricked by the capsicum on each end. This pattern is a pattern about 5... an ABBCC pattern. What clever use of fruit and vegetables!

This one is an ABC pattern... a pattern about 3!

What can you use at home to make a pattern? How creative can you be? Don't forget to tell us about your pattern in a comment and bring in a picture to show if you can.
HAPPY PATTERNING!

I can make a 'AB' pattern. I like both of the patterns that Johanna and Billee-Jane made at home.

Billee-Jane's pattern is a 'ABC' pattern. Billee's pattern is made from knives and forks. We use knives and forks for eating our dinner.

I like making patterns. It was intesting looking at and working out the patterns made by Billee-Jane and Johanna.

I like school and I like playing with lego. I make patterns at home with my lego. You can also make patterns with toys and I can make patterns with words.
