WHAT 1M LIKES

We learn new Word Wall Words each week. This week one of our words is like.
Today we tried to use the word like in our journal writing.
Isabella wrote: I like guitars. I like Mum. I like Dad. (she found the word guitar on the 'g' poster...clever girl!)
Lauren wrote: I like you because you are special. (she was really listening for the sounds- well done!)

Ben wrote: I like my fish. (Today Ben learnt what to do when you leave out a word!)

Jacob wrote: I like www. (word wall words- we like your abbreviation, Jacob) I like my toys. They are fun. I like the sounds. They are fun. (Jacob found the word 'sounds' on the computer screen - very clever!)

Callum wrote: I like swimming. (he listened for the sounds in 'swim' too)

Mrs M was very impressed with our writing and it's only Week 4!!!!

WE LIKE...ACTUALLY, WE LOVE WRITING!

BUT.... what do we like about Year1? Here's what we had to say.

Isabella: I like to work.

Laura: I like drawing and being with the same teacher as my cousin Lucy.

Lauren: I like Mrs M.

Naomi: I like writing lots and lots and lots.

Johanna: I like drawing.

Matthew: I like the work and playing with my friends.

Tierney: I like drawing too.

Billee-Jane: I like being in 1M because we do lots of fun stuff.

Lachlan: I like doing word wall and I like 'slow-mo'.

Brooke: I like looking at the blog.

Alistair: I like word wall.

Emily: I like doing 'opera' in word wall.

Harrison: I like word wall too. I like 'movie star kisses.

Courtney: I like making Mrs M laugh and I like word wall.

Patrick: I like school because I like doing activities.

Sophia: I like writing.

Talia: I like talking and playing with my friends.

Callum: I like learning the word wall words each week.

Jarvis: I like sending a comment to our blog.

Daniel: I like playing with my friends.

Ben: I like playing and working on the blog.

Kimi: I like doing word wall. I like being a cheerleader.

Max: I like spelling out words with the cheer cards. I like doing volcano.

Jack: I like playing in the playground.

Bryce: I like playing with my friends on the oval.

Flynn: I like writing about dinosaurs.

Jacob: I like to play with my friends and I like reading.
