We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

LEARNING PODCASTS

We've had fun playing with our new ipods this week.

We're learning how to create our own podcasts about our learning.

Here are Johanna and Tierney's podcasts about their patterns.

You can listen to them at our new LEARNING PODCASTS site!

UPDATE 22/10: The Education Minister listened to these podcasts today and was very impressed. We hope you will be too!

Wow, I have no idea how you did that! Your class is so clever with the computers and also with what you are learning about patterns. Great work.

Hi Mrs M and 1M Gems,
Did Mrs M tell you that lots and lots of people have been listening to your podcasts about patterns? Last Monday on the pupil free day Mrs M played your podcasts for teachers from several different schools. We all knew that you were very clever with patterns and now other schools do as well.
What a great way to share your learning with others through podcasting. Congratulations 1M Gems!
