A few years ago I went to the Ekka.
I went on some rides. I went on the dodgem cars. I got some show bags. I got the Thomas the Tank Engine show bag.

I watched some shows.

I watched the wood chop show.

I went home and looked at my show bag stuff.

Tonight I am going to the Ekka and I am seeing the woodchop. My friends are coming with me to the Ekka and thier names are Jacob,and,Jack,and,my, brother and Flynn, and Courtney.






I am going to see the fireworks. and the haunted house.
I am getting a show bag and I am getting Scooby Doo.
I am going on the bumpa cars and I am doing to crash onto my
brother. and I am going to the motorbikes.

GROUPS WE BELONG TO

This week we have been investigating groups that we belong to.
We found out that we belong to lots of groups.

Some of us are in ballay.

Some of us play baseball.


Some of us are in a boat club.

Some of us are in a soccer teem.

Some of us are in a pony club.

Some of us are in art classes.

We are all in a class group.

We are all in a school group.

We all have friends.

We are all in a Church group.

We are all in a family.

and we are all in God's family.

We can tell the groups we belong to by the name or by the uniform or by what we do.

HOW CAN WE TELL THAT WE BELONG TO GOD'S FAMILY?

TYPING MAT FUN

Today we used the typing mats to type our werd wall werds. We were practising spelling our werds for this week and lerning where the letters are on the keyboard so we can type quicker.

It was hard to get the right fingers on the right key but it was fun and soon it will be ezee.

We used the spellcheck on this post but we don't think all the werds are right.

CALLUM'S WRITING TIPS #1

When you are writing
and you need to know how to spell a word, think where the word could be around the room.
Today I needed the word 'cake' and I remembered that it was on the blog.
So don't forget to look at the blog when you need a word...it might be there!

'AI' WORDS

This week we are learning about two vowels going walking and how the first one does all the talking.

So first up we are looking at 'ai' words...'ai' says the name of the letter 'a'.

We went looking for 'ai' words.

OUR LATEST LEARNING

Today we learnt how to use the spellcheck when we are doing a post.

It is on the toolbar and it looks like a tick with ABC on it

We clicked on it and it locates the words that are the wrong spelling.

They come up yellow. We clicked on the yellow words and they came up with a list of the words it could be. We hope we chose the right spelling.

JACOB'S PARTY

I went to Jacobs golf party.
We played golf.
I had a piece of cake. I ate the cake.
It was so yum.

SJV DAY

Last week Mrs M was sick. She was sick for four days.

She mist out on cake for SJV Day.

We went to the Church for a mass and Fr Des was there.

We went to the oval to celebrate and have the SJV Day cake.

The icing was blue and white because our school colours are blue and white. It was yummy.

Larst week Andrew Chin came to our school to teech us some songs.

Andrew is a very nice man. He targht us songs and how to dance to them .

He coold me up and we sang and danced. I looked like his doortr.
