We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

Seven is sleek
Seven is the number of the week

Seven little mice running through the fields,
Seven kangaroos hopping in the hills,
Seven magical fairies dancing in my yard,
Make a rhyme about number seven,
Seven iceblock sticks,
running to their surfboards.

Come on girls,

in the tree
They are as loud
They are as loud
as they can be.

WE'VE STARTED SOMETHING HERE!!!

The children have really caught the 'poetry bug' and have taken off with their writing.
It's hard to believe that this all started with a poem from Elizabeth at INKLESS TALES, barely 2 weeks ago!
BRYCE started the ball rolling and this week, ALISTAIR, LAURA, BEN and BILLEE-JANE have joined him in the spotlight.
LOOK OUT FOR THEIR POEMS IN FOLLOWING POSTS.
WHO WILL BE NEXT?
