Today we had our first visit to the new library.From our classroom, we have to walk along the pathway, past 1G and the Prep rooms, to get to the library.
When we got there, we couldn't see Mrs O, so we called out- "Mrs O, can we come in?"... but she wasn't there!
We saw our library box. We saw an 'igloo' ( we were allowed to sit in it two at a time when Mrs O arrived), but we still couldn't find Mrs O. So we found our own spot and curled up with a book. At last, Mrs O arrived. She sat on the 'storyteller's seat' and showed us her 'storyteller's cloak'.
Then Mrs O showed us books by her favourite author - Anthony Browne.
We listened to 'WILLY THE WIMP' and enjoyed spotting the differences in 'CHANGES'.
We love the new library, even though it's not quite finished.
We can't wait until we can borrow!
