We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

WHO ARE YOUR V.I.P'S?

Who are the VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE in your lives, 1M?
The people who are special to you, who you can't do without?
My family - Mr M and my 3 children (all grown up) are the most precious,Very Important People in my life.
You, my 1M Gems are also Very Important People to me.
There's also my wider family, my friends, my computer technician...the list goes on.
Think about one of your V.I.P's. Who are they? Why are they important to you?
We will profile each of your V.I.P.'s on our blog.
Bryce said "My day care mum is my VIP because she looked after me and we did collage together".
Johanna said"My very important persons are my Grandma and Grandpa. They are important to me because they give me a cookie whenever I go to their place".
Alistair said "My fish Lucy, my rat and my guinea pig Cutie are important to me because they are special. Well...my guinea pig is not all that special because he ran away under the deck. But we finally caught him."
Harry said "My Dad is important to me because he's a maker. He made a pool out of fencing. He makes me laugh. He puts his hand up and says he wants a juice popper".
Daniel said "My Dad is my very important person. He looked after me when Mum
was in hospital. She had the baby."
