We are a class of Prep students, sharing all that's happening in our classroom. This blog was started by the first group of Gems, a Year One class back in 2007. We, the 2012 Gems are proud to continue on the conversation. You can read, watch and listen as we share our learning journey - a journey where we 'learn to blog' and 'blog to learn'. Please visit regularly to see what's new and join in the conversation - we'd love for you to be part of our learning.

INTRODUCING THE PREP GEMS

Welcome to our blog.

We are the Prep Gems and we are so happy to be continuing on the blog started by the original 1M Little Gems back in 2007. That's the year some of us were born!

Some of us have older brothers and sisters who have been GEMS, and we've heard about how they blogged about their learning and connected with people all around the world!
This is the start of our blogging journey.
We don't know where we will go but we know the journey will be exciting.
We need you to be part of it so...

PLEASE LEARN WITH US. COME JOIN THE CONVERSATION!

Wow your blog is just amazing and you are so lucky to have a teacher that shares the same interests as all of you!

I have enjoyed looking at all the fun activities that Mrs M has done over the years and I can't wait to see what all the prep gems will be busy doing this year.

Vann and I have enjoyed singing the phonic songs you have learnt so far, you are all very clever little gems. Enjoy this sunny day.

Hi!
It's the first time I blog. Just curious in regards to the info on the right hand side of the Blog. Is that current for this year (2012) preps?
Just a bit confusing as there is some info next to it from 2008, 2007, and so on.
Thanks
P's Mum

Hello Vann's Mum,

Thank you for leaving comments on the blog. You are the first to leave comments on our blog this year.

We think the blog is amazing too and can't wait to ashare more of our learning.

We're glad you love the phonic songs. We're going to make a video of ourselves singing them, so then you can sing along with all of us.

We hope you have a great day too.
