Do you like my new look, 1M?
I created this photo in a program called FUNBOOTH.
It was a huge hit with the kids taking part in Kids Connect and it will be on our new laptops when we get them. Isn't it cool?I worked with 11 very clever kids last Thursday and Friday. In pairs they created a Superhero to help fight an issue in Brisbane and created a comic strip to tell of their superhero's fight.
I had heaps of fun and Iearnt how to do lots of new things. I can't wait to show you a dvd of what the kids did tomorrow.

I've never heard of them, Sophia - you'll have to tell me more. What do they fight against?
My favourite superheroes as a child were Batman and Robin. Even now, I much prefer the 'original' Batman TV show to the Batman movies of today. Another favourite was 'Wonderwoman'. I guess I liked the fact that it was a 'girl' who was fighting off the villians.
I wonder what superheroes are popular with our class? Now there's a poll topic for you!

Teen Titans fight against all the bad guys. Robin, Batman's sidekick, is the leader of the Teen Titans. There are five Teen Titans. Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven and Beastboy. My sister thinks Beastboy is cute, I think he is too. =]. My sister has a WonderWoman shirt. It looks cool!!

Sophia, I nearly bought a 'Wonderwoman' tshirt last week. I thought it might be cool to wear it to Kids Connect. There was a 'Batgirl' one too. I couldn't decide which one to buy. I think I might go back and get one. Which one do you think I should get?
